Suggestions for gifts using the rug hooking technique:

Mini Flower Purse

Louise G. de Tonnancour

This purse, measuring 6" x 6" is an original design. All wools used were cut in #3. At a Hook-In workshop of the Green Mountain Rug Hooking Guild in 2011, Rose Raymond from Wooley Incarnations taught me how to assemble this purse.

Butterfly Bag

by Denise Vandenbemden

The bag measures 12" x 12" - the design was hooked in new wool in #4 cut. I got the idea for this bag from a rug hooking friend. The bag was used as a container for gifts.

Paper Doll

by Mayumi Takahashi

This 3-dimensional cushion was inspired by my small collection of postcards featuring designs of American classic (old style) paper dolls. The doll was hooked on monk's cloth with hand dyed new wool.
